Rudder turnbuckles needed

Written by: Brian Charters
Created: 28 July 2012
i am in need of the two turnbuckles and the two small shackle links that fit on the rear of the rudder cables and fit onto the rudder horns. I think they are an assembly.

I need them for both sides. Please let me know if you can help. i have tried to obtain them but not had any luck . The fuselage is nearly done, a labour of love. but worth every hour!

Jungmeister kit for sale

Written by: Administrator
Created: 06 July 2012
A spectacular Jungmeister was recently advertised for sale here. It is not mine, but is owned by some non-aeroplane people who asked me to look at it and advertise it for them.

Almost as soon as the advertisement was posted, I received messages from people involved in its past. The current owners received the kit in partial payment for a real-estate debt, and have gone to considerable lengths and expense to legally establish their ownership, and their right to sell the item. They warrant that they hold proper title to the material, as does thier attorney.

None the less, it is now clear that several friends, acquaintances, and good people have lost a lot of money, and endured a lot of stress at the hands of a previous owner, a Mr. William Daum trading as Aero 10-4, or Aero-Union.

Having been made aware of this, I don't feel comfortable continuing to advertise or promote it. That is why the ad was removed.

Jungmann/Lycoming prop for sale.

Written by: Ben Morphew
Created: 13 June 2012
I've got the Z model Sensenich prop that was on the Jungmann I had for sale on Barnstormers.  I'm cleaning out the hangar and came across this with all the hardware, plate adapter, and cap.

This prop is pitched for a Bucker with a 180 HP Lycoming, so I guess it'd work on a Lycoming Jungmeister as well.

Thanks

1957 Bucker restoration plus many parts

Written by: Douglas M. James
Created: 09 June 2011
-- SOLD --

Complete 1957 Bucker Jungmann for sale with many extra parts, engines, new prop, etc.

florida_bucker001.jpg

This was a flying airplane when I bought it in Florida from the estate of Bill Barber.  I trucked it back to Minneapolis and discovered it had some original fabric.  So, I removed the fabric on the fuselage to help me with my other restoration.  I have not removed the fabric from the wings, tail, and control surfaces.

p4250011.jpg

I looked inside the wings and they seem in reasonable shape with a couple of top and bottom caps broken from hauling.  One wing was rebuilt by a Smithsonian mechanic.

p5030001.jpg

The tailwheel assembly was removed and replaced with a Maule type.  I have the original tailwheel assembly and the cluster that was removed.  I ran the engine when I got to Minneapolis and it ran fine.

rear_cockpit.jpg

I have at least two extra 150 hp engines, a new wood prop, a new carb, a new starter and MANY other parts.  I also have Included a new fuselage from overseas with a Zlin tailwheel assembly installed.

I want to sell this as a package for $55,000.  Everything is in my hangars in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I might consider somekind of trade for a Super Decathalon.  If interested, please email or call me and I will email some more pictures.

Bücker Apparel

1988 US National aerobatic champion Earle Andrews would explain to anyone that asked that his success in the air was due to his wearing shoes of a color that exactly matched his Pitts S1T. (He wore natty red driving shoes with a while stripe)

Good thing for Bücker owners then that shoes, shirts, hats and more with our favorite logo on them are now available at http://www.zazzle.com/enjoybucker

zazzle.com is a company that specializes in allowing one to customize items of apparel, then manufacturing and then shipping them in a couple of days.

Carburettor Linkage Needed

Written by: Tim Rayner
Created: 08 May 2011
I now have a further problem and I am seeking your help and those of the site members. We are missing the linkages to the carburettor. Our carb is a 1962 unit for a 125 hp engine and is different from the usual units.

We are looking for drawings, pictures and/or dimensions of the linkages to the carb, and the arms mounted on the carb or manifold. We would also be happy to purchase the real thing, or borrow to copy, or just plain old information to enable us to make our own.

Here is a picture of the carb so others may see the type we need information for.

All other aspects are going well. We wet the fuel and oil systems today and no leaks, see if that is the case in the morning!
